Arcadi Volodos
© Marco Borggreve
Arcadi Volodos is one of the few legendary virtuoso pianists of our time. A student of Dmitri Bashkirov, he has played in the most prestigious concert halls in the world while garnering considerable accodales for his recordings, inluding a Gramophone Award, a Diapason d'Or, an Edison Award, and multiple Grammy nominations. Having consolidated his reputation with dizzying virtuoso performances, he has recently turned to more lyrical early-19th-century repertoire. For his awaited Finland debut, he has chosen a program that showcases the most delicate nuances of his playing.
