The traditional Tapiola Youth Piano Competition is open to pianists in three age groups. Two of these are for youngsters of up to 15 from the metropolitan region and the third is an international one open to all pianists aged 10–15. The finalists in the international group will perform movements from piano concertos with the Kamus Quartet.
The competition performances are open for audience for free of charge.
